To overcome this problem, the hostel power switching card system is implemented. This is a big issue, and it will cause the students to pay high electrical fees and cause the wastage of natural resources. For example, especially hostel area, the students will keep turning on the phones or laptop charger and keep turning on the air-conditioner to keep their room as their desired temperature even there is nobody in their room. #Pet u automatic feeder how toIn this world, it consists of a lot of people who do not know how to use the power wisely. The system saves about to 50 percent of electrical power usage in the vending machine and low energy wastage while maintaining the same vending machine capabilities. IoE dashboard is developed for vending operator to monitor the power usage, leakage potential, optimization, and prediction of power consumption. Abnormality such as electrical leakage that draws more power can be detected as well. Human can be detected via camera via Artificial Intelligence (AI) and this becomes the input to the Smart Relay. This research aims to optimize vending machine power consumption by using camera to detect human near to the vending machine and relays to control the power usage. Despite the advancements of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) in many sectors, electrical power of vending machine is yet to be optimized. However, the vending machines operates for 24/7, consumes the same electrical load regardless of if there is a transaction. ![]() Purchasing processes are carried out via automation from item selection, payment, up to the item dispensing are done without interaction to the human and this can be carried out for 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Modern vending machines operate to serve the consumer easy-access demand for daily items such as food, drinks, or books. Other than that, PIR sensor is used to detect the presents of human in the nearby and give out a message through speaker to remind people using the hand sanitizer. An alert system also constructs to remind the owner to refill the hand sanitizer. ![]() The liquid level of hand sanitizer is monitored by using Node-RED. The system also consists of monitoring and alert features. The system is implemented by using Haar Cascade Classifier to detects the hand palm and measure the hand by using Euclidean distance and pixels per metrics. The method used to achieve the objectives of this project is by using the Raspberry Pi B+. They may also use is too much and it can be wasted. They may use it very little which will not achieving the purpose of using it to curb the infectious virus. The usage of the hand sanitizer also controlled by the individual behaviors. This will make the hand sanitizer dispenser to be contaminated. #Pet u automatic feeder manualThe research problem of this project is the hand sanitizer dispenser mostly provided in manual dispenser. The main aim of this research is to design a smart hand sanitizer dispenser that dispenses optimum amount of sanitizer based on the palm image processing with enhanced IoT features. The large outlet is only used in smart mode where its flow rate was calculated as 183.11 cm^3/s while the small outlets allows a flow rate of 8.62 cm^3/s. The Smart Pet Food Dispensing Algorithm is based on the energy fact of food, type of cat, cat‟s weight to regulate the flow rate of the feeder. The right amount of food is based on the adequate energy that selected cat shall take per day. The cat‟s weight will be, further, measured and the system can compute the right amount of the food to be dispensed to cat. On control unit, the system can operate under smart mode where user can define the energy fact of the food inside the tank and type of the cat. System perform periodic measurements of the pet‟s weight and food level inside the tank. This research proposed a pet feeder system which is divided into two main sectors including measurements and control unit. Smart home devices and gadgets are becoming more popular with consumers who enjoy having all their devices interconnected to serve the purpose of increased convince, comfort, energy effeincncy and most importantly personalization which is one of the focus points on this project, with the help of automation of electronics and IoT the experience becomes much more personalized for the user. While this interconnection is happening in businesses and throughout organizations on a global level, it‟s also happening in individual homes. Automation can be done independently by machines, but it can be enhanced with monitoring and controlling features with the help of IoT, as the world becomes increasingly interconnected, the Internet of Things (IoT) creates an extensive network of devices that regularly exchange data. ![]()
